Optixcare Eye Lube Plus is a sterile eye lubricant with a dual polymer system, containing carbomer gel and hyaluronic acid (hyaluron), specifically formulated for veterinary use.

Indications: For use as adjunctive support in Dry Eye (keratoconjunctivissica or KCS) and as an eye lubricant during anesthesia.

Directions for use:
Dry Eyes: Instill 1-2 drops in both eyes, 2 to 3 times a day or as often as recommended by your veterinarian or veterinary opthalmologist.
Anesthesia: Instill 1-2 drops onto the corneal surface or conjunctival sac of both eyes.

Ingedients: Steile water, sorbital, carbomer 980, hyaluron, sodium hydroxide. Preserved with disodium EDTA and cetrimide.

Warnings: For veterinary use only. If animal experiences discomfort, or irritation of the eye, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian. The contents are sterile until the cap is removed. To avoid contamination of the tube and contents avoid touching the eye or any other surface with the tip. Recap after use. Discard open tube after 45 days. Store at room temperature.

Unlike mineral oil or petroleum based eye ointments, Optixcare Eye Lube is formulated with a sterile water base. Because of the water base and the gel viscosity only one drop per eye of Optixcare Eye Lube is needed. The frequency of application will depend on the veterinarian's direction and the pet owner's capability but the Eye Lube is very safe and non-irritating.
