ronaxan (generic ) 100mg
Ronaxan is a tetracycline-class antibiotic used by veterinarians to treat animal patients suffering from certain bacterial infections and microorganisms.
Ronaxan Tablets contain the antibiotic doxycycline and are used in cats and dogs. The spectrum of activity of Ronaxan makes it particularly suitable for respiratory infections and so it is usually used for rhinitis, sinusitis, tonsilitis and broncho-pneumonia. Doxycycline is more fat soluble than many other antibiotics and penetrates tissues well, so it is sometimes prescribed for other infections, such as prostatitis in male dogs. Ronaxan Tablets are normally given once daily with a meal for 5 days.

Side affects: RONAXAN or doxycycline is generally safe and effective for use in animals when administered according to the prescription and in most cases, it does not produce negative side effects. Some animals may experience diarrhea, which is simply the result of a change in the population of intestinal bacteria. If this occurs, contact your veterinarian, as the dosage may need to be adjusted.
If the animal experiences hives, swelling of the face, lips or tongue or has difficulty breathing, contact the veterinarian immediately, as these are signs of an allergic reaction. It is useful to note that doxycycline is a very bitter-tasting medication. In dosage forms that have excessive contact with taste buds, excessive drooling or foaming may be noted due to the flavor. Side affect such as vomiting nausea, or swallowing, you may try to administer with food followed by some water.
