A treatment of mites in large ornamental birds, e.g. pigeons, parrots, cockatoos and chickens..
Dosage:
One drop per 500g of bodyweight per week to be applied between the shoulder blades for three weeks.

For treatment of mites in larger cage birds (e.g. pigeons & parrots), and fur, ear and mange mites and lice in rabbits, Guinea pigs, ferrets and other small mammals (e.g. rats).
It is very cost effective, with enough product to provide a full course of treatment to a loft of 50 birds. Easy to apply with the dropper provided and the 1% concentration means that a single drop will provide an effective dose for an adult pigeon. Beware of lower concentration presentations, where one drop will not provide be adequate to provide an effective treatment.
Ivermectin Drops can also be used prophylactically to prevent reinfestation. To reduce the chances of mites/lice being introduced into your loft, it is advisable to treat any new birds that you introduce into your loft, or any birds that have been in close contact with other birds outside of your loft e.g. races or shows.
Please chec with veterinarian if to be used on chickens, eggs should not be consumed for 10 days after last application.
