Unlike most other plaque control products that are applied directly on the teeth, PlaqueOff Animal works systematically and comes in powder that is sprinkled on your pet’s food. When the ingredients are absorbed into the blood via the digestion and enters the saliva, they effectively prevent accumulation of plaque by affecting the ability of plaque to ‘stick’ to surfaces in the mouth. It should be used once daily and can be added to wet or dry food.

How much needs to be added?

• Small dogs up to 10kg & cats scoop 1 year supply*
• Medium dogs 10-25kg 1 scoop 6 months supply*
• Large & giant dogs 25+kg 2 scoops 3 months supply*

Will it remove existing tartar?

ProDen PlaqueOff will soften existing tartar making it easier to remove with a tooth brush, chews, biscuits or scraped off with finger nail.

How long does it last?

This depends on the weight of your pet. For small dogs and cats the smallest pot (60g) will last up to a year and for large dogs 3 months.

Are there any side effects?

There are no known side effects, however, due to the rich iodine content of seaweed, this product may not be suitable for animals undergoing treatment for hyperthyroidism.
