Product Information

Antirobe 75mg for dogs is an antibiotic used to treat infections. Each gelatin capsule contains 75mg of Clindamycin hydrochloride which treats a variety of different infections such as skin infections, bone infections, infected mouth cavities ordental infections and infected wounds or abscesses. This product must be given orally. If administering the capsule proves tricky, the capsule can be split and the powder inside can be mixed with a little food. Once Antirobe 75mg capsules has been administered, Clindamycin hydrochloride is rapidly absorbed from the canine gastro-intestinal tract. It is fast acting too, with effective antibacterial serum levels reached within 30 minutes of administration.

Special Instructions

If you need to split the capsules, keeping them in the fridge can help make splitting the capsules easier.
Some vomiting or diarrhoea may occur in some patients. If these symptons are seen please stop the treatment and contact your vet for further information.
This product should not be given to rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas, horses or ruminants. This strength of Antirobe is not suitable for cats.
If your pet is due to be on this product for one month or great then periodic liver and kidney function tests and blood counts should be performed.
